What AGI stores
To provide the service, AGI may store your email address, first name or preferred name, school year, programme, selected subjects, subject levels and curriculum version.
AGI also stores learning information needed to continue your study experience, including grind questions, your answers, teaching feedback, scores, topic mastery and revision dates.
Why AGI uses this information
AGI uses this information to operate your account, choose relevant curriculum content, personalise study sessions, remember progress, provide feedback and schedule revision.
AI study features
AI study features are optional. When enabled, AGI sends the current study question and relevant curriculum context needed to generate or mark a grind. New AI generation and marking stop when AI study features are turned off.
The AI provider may process limited data under its security and abuse-prevention rules. AGI asks the AI service not to keep reusable application state for these study responses.
AGI Voice Tutor
When you choose Listen, the relevant explanation or feedback text is processed to create spoken audio. AGI does not need to keep a permanent copy of that generated audio to provide the feature. Automatic read-aloud is optional and off by default.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. AGI receives subscription entitlement information needed to determine whether Premium access is active. Apple handles payment details; AGI does not receive your full card or payment-account information.
What AGI does not do
- No behavioural advertising.
- No sale of student data.
- No third-party analytics SDK in this version.
- No public social feed or student-to-student messaging.
Your controls
You can change your study setup, turn AI study features on or off, sign out, manage your Apple subscription and permanently delete your AGI account from the app.
Security
AGI uses authenticated accounts, encrypted network connections, device Keychain storage for sign-in information and database rules designed to separate one student's private records from another student's records.
Students and families
AI Grind Ireland is designed for secondary-school students. Younger users can ask a parent or guardian to review this policy with them.
