Carey Web Services only asks for the details needed to discuss, build and support your website. This may include your name, business name, phone number, email address, website details, photos and wording you send for a project.

This information is used to reply to enquiries, prepare websites, provide support and keep project records.

Rowing Weather App Privacy

Rowing Weather is designed to work without creating a user account. The app does not sell personal information, does not display third-party advertising and does not use personal data for tracking.

Location data

Rowing Weather can use your device location, or a location you choose on the map, to provide weather, wind, rain, course and tide-related information. Precise latitude and longitude may be sent to weather and marine data services only to return the requested information.

Location data is used for app functionality. Rowing Weather does not use location for advertising, marketing or analytics and does not link it to a Rowing Weather account or identity.

Third-party services

Rowing Weather uses Apple Maps for mapping, Open-Meteo for weather forecast data, and a Supabase-hosted service for tide requests. These services may process technical request information in accordance with their own privacy and logging practices.

Optional profile name

You may enter an optional profile name in the app. This name is stored only on your iPhone and is not uploaded to Rowing Weather servers or shared with weather providers.

Saved waters, courses and rigging

Saved waters, rowing courses, rigging setups and related preferences are stored locally on your device. Rowing Weather does not require an online account for these saved items.

Subscriptions and payments

Rowing Weather Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple processes subscription payments and payment-card information. Rowing Weather does not receive your payment-card details.

Deleting local data

You can remove your optional name, saved waters, saved courses and saved rigging using the Delete My Saved Data option in Profile & Settings. Deleting local data does not cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions are managed through your Apple Account.

Children

Rowing Weather does not contain social networking, messaging or user-generated content sharing and does not knowingly collect account information from children.
