Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how Carey Web Services provides simple one-page websites, social media buttons where needed, QR code cards, review cards and business extras for Irish service businesses.

1. About Carey Web Services

Carey Web Services builds simple websites and business extras for Irish service businesses, tradesmen, contractors, clubs, events and local services.

2. What Carey Web Services provides

Carey Web Services provides simple website and business support services such as:

  • One-page service websites
  • Service business website layouts
  • Call, WhatsApp and email buttons
  • Social media buttons and links included with websites where needed
  • Website wording and basic Google search wording
  • Photo and gallery sections
  • Domain setup help
  • Google Business Profile help where requested
  • QR code business cards
  • Google review cards
  • Sponsor cards or event cards
  • Printable PDF flyers or simple business designs
  • Small updates and yearly care plans

3. What Carey Web Services does not provide

Carey Web Services does not currently build:

  • Online shops
  • Product stock systems
  • Customer login systems
  • Complicated booking platforms
  • Large custom web applications
  • Websites requiring constant product changes
Carey Web Services focuses on service websites and simple business extras only. This keeps the work simple, clear and suitable for small local businesses.

4. Prices and quotes

Prices shown on this website are guide prices. Launch prices may be changed later. The final price may depend on the work required, the number of sections, photos, pages, changes, domain setup, Google setup, QR cards, review cards, sponsor cards, PDF designs or extra support needed.

A customer should confirm the price before work starts.

5. Deposits and payments

Carey Web Services may ask for a deposit before work begins. The balance may be due before or at launch, depending on the agreement for the job.

Payments may be accepted by bank transfer, Revolut or another agreed method.

6. Customer information and content

The customer is responsible for providing correct business information, including:

  • Business name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • WhatsApp number
  • Services offered
  • Area covered
  • Photos, logo or wording
  • Social media links, if they want them added to the website
  • Google Business Profile or Google review link, where needed

Carey Web Services is not responsible for incorrect details supplied by the customer.

7. Photos, logos, text and links

The customer should only send photos, logos, text, links or content they have permission to use. Carey Web Services may use customer-provided content to build the website or create agreed business extras such as QR cards, review cards, sponsor cards or printable PDF designs.

8. Domains and ownership

Customers should ideally own their own domain name. Carey Web Services may help register, connect or manage a domain where agreed.

Domain renewals are the responsibility of the domain owner unless a care plan or separate agreement is in place.

9. Google Business Profile and review links

Customers should own their own Google Business Profile. Carey Web Services may be added as a manager to help update the profile, website link, photos, services or contact details.

If Google review cards are created, the customer is responsible for providing the correct Google review link. Passwords should not be shared. Manager access should be used where possible.

10. Social media buttons

Social media buttons or links can be added to website packages where needed. These may include Facebook, Instagram, X or other suitable links supplied by the customer.

The customer is responsible for checking that all social media links supplied are correct and active.

11. QR code cards, review cards and PDF designs

Carey Web Services may create QR code cards, Google review cards, sponsor cards, event cards or printable PDF designs where agreed with the customer.

The customer is responsible for checking all phone numbers, email addresses, QR links, review links, social links, spelling, layout and business details before printing or sharing.

12. Website changes after launch

Some packages may include a short period of small changes after launch. Larger changes, new sections, redesigns, extra pages, extra QR designs, new PDF designs or additional business extras may cost extra.

13. Yearly care plans

A yearly care plan may include small text changes, photo changes, phone/email updates, link checks, social media link checks, QR code link checks and domain renewal support. The exact care plan should be agreed with the customer.

14. Search engine results

Carey Web Services may include basic Google search wording and SEO-friendly structure, but no website can guarantee a specific ranking in Google search results.

15. Website availability

Carey Web Services may use third-party services such as domain providers, hosting platforms and email services. Website availability may depend on these third-party providers.

16. Limitation of responsibility

Carey Web Services aims to provide reliable and useful websites and business extras, but is not responsible for loss of business, loss of profit, third-party outages, customer-provided errors, incorrect links, QR code mistakes after approval, printing issues, or issues caused by services outside our control.

17. Updates to these terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated as Carey Web Services develops or changes its services.
